The family of longtime Archive supporter Jiarui Li planted two Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) trees.
In Jiarui Li and his wife Baoyan An's home country of China, the ginkgo tree has deep cultural significance: it represents longevity and endurance. This tree can live for up to 1,000 years. Its delicate leaves, stunning fall color and high pollution tolerance make it ideal for the urban environment. Jiarui and Baoyan wish to share the species's virtues with those in their adopted country.
